What is relief from teaching for the joint supervision graduate student?

During a specified period of time, the Joint Supervision Graduate Program allows the student to be fully or partially relieved from her teaching load, provided that she commits herself to report for duty at her place of study  (King Abdulaziz University).

When can the joint supervision graduate student commence the period of her relief from teaching load?

• The joint supervision graduate student has to undertake a full teaching load before the external supervisor pays his/her first visit to the university or before she sees her supervisor at the external university if s/he is not able to pay a visit to King Abdulaziz University.
• The college Vice-Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research notifies the Joint Supervision Committee of the student’s teaching load at the beginning of every semester.
